Beloved: Warning this may anger you, but let’s agree to disagree and engage in healthy dialogue.
Back over Thanksgiving of 2022, I was in Florida and went on a run, and saw a mural on the wall of a blind person with her walking stick walking across the street with two-three people around her letting HER lead the way crossing a street… how did she know if it was a red light or a green light?
Did she know if she was going to get hit? There is no braille for cross walks! There are no tiny bumps to read when a car comes to swipe you. There are no endings to hit unless the blind person uses the stick to hit the red or green light lamp post to tell the group that they’ve hit the safe section, which isn’t even seeable to the leader. Not to mention the yard stick that is used by the blind person constantly moves bit by bit, hitting mini things in its way and we all wonder if that will hit a near by car or if the car will hit the person.
Not to mention those following her are the ones in the greatest DANGER! It should be the unblind group of people leading the blind person across the street AND not the other way around. The kind thing is to walk the elderly person and lead them across the street, right?
The issue occurring in society I believe today is that the blind are leading the blind. We have people in government advancing agendas and moving initiatives that are incredibly destructive to society, destroying morality, wrecking our 100+ year old value system that once guided us, destroying our concept of family and gender, printing money like its candy effectively devaluing our currency, creating dependency cycles through social safety nets that are not necessarily empowering people but keeping those in power - in power, creating an AI system of population control and ushering in a system of accusation, use of psyops, advancing environmental agendas that clearly don’t solve the problem but just craft more societal control over the population through things like EVs (they can control the car). We don’t really care about precious unborn babies regarding abortion despite it being evil. The younger generation doesn’t even know their left hand from their right hand anymore as 40% of them question their God given, assigned gender. We moved the yard stick yet again when President Biden said same sex marriage is now codified in legislation on capital hill in December of 2022. Can a man and a man reproduce biologically speaking? Can a woman-woman reproduce naturally speaking? I recognize this may anger somebody, but that’s okay, let’s agree to disagree because my yard stick here is set and written in the stars (Genesis 26:4, God can't create another father of a nation like He did with Abraham with the current agenda), and it won’t move. Yet, can I ask you a question: how is society wide confusion okay? Why are we allowing this to happen? I think many of us have been blinded, and we don’t see that leadership is leading us into oblivion.
We’re now under leadership that says “anything goes,” which means the concept of morality is a moving yard stick that whenever it fits our contexts and situations, we move it. Mind you years ago Biden WAS quoted saying marriage was between a man and woman. So, truth is no longer truth, and facts only fit our feelings which are entirely fickle. We move the morality yard stick to say this is “right” and this is “wrong” now and it shows.
Our value system has shifted and we no longer have concrete values that truly guide us such as integrity, faith, wisdom, family, etc. Thus, I believe we as the followers, have a right to say “where are you taking us, and why?” We’re currently not asking this question to leaders and it shows deeply. This all affirms the epitome of Proverbs 29:18, “where there is no prophetic vision, the people cast off restraint, but blessed is he who keeps the Law.”
Without restraint or things that inhibit you, anything honestly goes. That’s why the Proverb talks about how “blessed is he who keeps the Law.” The Law was timeless back in the day. The Law refers to Levitical Jewish Law that was written on the hearts of the Jewish people so much so they could recite hundreds of the 500+ commands (no thank you!!). It kept people out of trouble. It was concrete, it never changed, the needle was NEVER moved away from it, and the only reason it changed was because the timeless person it alluded to was the very fulfillment of the Law: Jesus. He was a restoration of everything wrong, as He made it right and allowed us to walk by the Holy Spirit, allowing us to not walk by the law, so we could trump our fleshly desires by the empowerment of the Spirit to get over sinful desires that would lead us elsewhere. Thus, where are the people that don’t bend based on what and where culture leads?
Why is it that we may perhaps condemn people in Papua New Guinea (PNG as I am abbreviating it here) from eating one another (cannibals) with our justice system looking at it from an American view point. If we, the Americans, were to assimilate ourselves in that culture, would it be commonplace to us? We’d be repulsed likely and turn it down despite it being an age old delicacy to them. So, if that is deemed right in PNG, and wrong here in America - what is right and what is wrong now if we project that in other areas of culture?
Because, culture can be deemed right in one cultural context and be deemed wrong in another cultural context. So, beloved, what is TRULY right and what is TRULY wrong? Is there some type of truth that truly exists out there that guides on this?
Do you not see the blind leading the blind and moving the yard stick? What is right or wrong to you? What is timeless to you?
Let's ask where are we being led, and why?
